At Landon's 3rd birthday party the idea came up for the guys to climb Mt. Rainier. As I heard the conversation I let out a snide laugh. Kyle asked "what was so funny?" and I said "I just can't see you on a Mountain". Boy was I wrong. Did you hear that Kyle? I am saying I was WRONG. On May 15 Kyle attempted to climb Mt. Rainier with some of the worst conditions that the guides had ever seen. They (Kyle, my dad, my brother, and my brother in law) mad it past 11,000 feet and wanted to go further but a wind storm came in a the guides sent them back. They spent 3 nights on the mountain. Learned how to climb with ice axes. All in all i believe it was a wonderful experience for these guys and I am just glad they are home safe and sound.
