Payton and Landon were staying at Grandma and Popi's house this last weekend. Payton went with a bit of a cold and some diarrhea and then on Saturday night Landon woke up with a hurt ear. My mother called promptly at 12:30 am with me sitting straight up and answering the phone with "What's wrong?". Landon fell back asleep and seemed just to have slept with his ear bent over and had some pain. Sunday morning Payton and Landon were playing on the stairs and Payton fell down and found the 1 foot of hardwood at the bottom of the stairs. He split his chin wide open and needed four stitches. We had four people holding Payton down while the doctor put the stitches in his chin. Payton was extremely upset and quite strong too.
We made it through and while it was quite an ordeal I assume Grandma and Popi will hesitate to ask for the boys to spend the night again. Pictures to come if Payton will allow it.

oh no!!! i can't believe that! poor guy!:( you made it! i feel like i am always just "waiting" for someone to break a bone or need stitches!
