I took over costume ideas this year and had a blast, with a lot of help from Kyle's mom, making Payton's Lady GaGa Costume. He wore it all of Halloween while at a party and a whole loop around the neighborhood that night. I got a lot of slack for child abuse but I didn't care Payton looked great and we already have a therapy fund set aside.
Landon went to School in his Michael Jackson costume and all the parents loved it. Not all the kids got it but (please don't take offence) I was glad he wasn't the 3rd bat man or some other popular costume. I am not creative so i will always be buying my kids costume but they have years to dress as super heroes.
We had Jan and Aunt Carla down for dinner and they manned the door as we went around the neighborhood. We even came back from trick-or-treating to a clean house. Isn't family wonderful. We are sad Halloween is over but now the planning for next year. Happy Holidays to all.
